Thanks to the adoption of advanced technologies such as Blockchain, Artificial Intelligence (AI), and IDS Data Space Connector, the project aims to create a secure and efficient digital ecosystem for managing information related to the battery lifecycle.

The Role of Extra Red: Digital Solutions for the Future of Batteries

Extra Red is responsible for developing an advanced digital platform, designed to:

Manage and transparently share data related to battery components, facilitating decision-making for reuse.
Define data models compliant with European standards, ensuring full compatibility with the Digital Battery Passport (DBP).
Create an intuitive user interface that enables operators to follow the AUTOMAT workflow across the various stages of battery remanufacturing and industrial reuse.

Digital Battery Passport: A Step Forward in Traceability

One of the key objectives of AUTOMAT is the creation of a Digital Battery Passport, a digital document that will gather all the necessary information to certify the safe and sustainable reuse of battery components. This tool will be essential for improving transparency and ensuring compliance with European directives.
