Fondazione Sistema Toscana: the portal of Tuscany landscapes

Fondazione Sistema Toscana is a non-profit private foundation established by the Tuscany Region and Banca Monte dei Paschi S.p.A. for the creation and management of the Tuscany Internet Portal, and to promote the regional territory and its identity through integrated digital communication tools: web, multimedia productions, social media.

Leveraging the features of the Liferay platform, Extra Red has optimized and simplified the forms for inserting and managing multimedia editorial content. Furthermore, by exploiting the multi-site capabilities, they have tackled the design and development by incorporating shared modules between the spaces (across the 2 portals).

The implementation of a dedicated graphic theme has ensured compliance with graphic guidelines, in conjunction with the communication campaign devised to publicize the spaces. The customization of the content structure has made editorial work efficient and simplified, considering the frequent publication of content, and the reuse of developments has enabled a shorter time-to-delivery and a more effective solution maintainability/extensibility.
