Municipality of Padua: Transparent Administration and ANAC Compliance

Padua is the third-largest municipality in the Veneto region by population and the fourteenth-largest nationally. For many years, it has played an important role among Italian municipalities in terms of renewal within the Public Administration, achieved through the implementation of innovative projects aimed at bringing citizens and public institutions closer and improving their relationship.

A solution has been developed based on the use of the Open Source Business Intelligence Suite, Pentaho Business Analytics, to gather, organize, and present all information, both externally and for the benefit of internal users of the organization. By creating data warehouse structures (Transparency and BIDDING), the City of Padua has equipped itself with a true Business Intelligence tool to support the strategic, organizational, and policy decisions of the organization.
